White Bird is proud to have offered masterclasses with nearly every company that they have brought to Portland.  However, for the 2021/22 season White Bird will not be offering any masterclasses for the health and  safety of the artists and participants.  Part of our mission is to continue fostering the growth of the local dance scene in Portland through workshops and masterclasses around town.

Friday Night Post-Show Talk Backs 

For the 2021/22 there will be no talk backs.  White Bird is hoping to resume talk backs when it is able to while maintaining the health and safety of the performers and participants.

White Bird has facilitated audience talk backs for three-run shows at the Newmark Theatre. Talk backs have been a way for the audience to further engage with the choreographer and dancers in visiting companies and have provided a unique experience for the companies to interact with the Portland audience.
