An original duet between Israeli choreographer/performer Iris Erez
and California-based choreographer/performer Marjani Forté-Saunders.
This is a work-in-progress, lasting 25 minutes.
A conversation between the two artists, moderated by Gabri Christa, follows the work.
Iris Erez is a prize-winning Israeli choreographer/performer and teacher, based in Jerusalem.
She was the guest artist professor in the Reed College/Portland, OR Dance Department in Spring 2017.
Marjani Forté-Saunders, based in California, is a choreographer, performer, educator, community
organizer, and mother. She has been awarded residencies at Bard College, Baryshnikov Arts Center,
Petronio Residency Center and The Yard. She toured with Urban Bush Women for five years.
Gabri Christa is the Associate Professor of Professional Practice at Barnard College of Columbia University's Dance Department.
