About:
Since 1976, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, the oldest and largest operating professional dance company in Dallas, Texas, has created and produced acclaimed contemporary dance with educational programs that bridge cultures and reach diverse communities. The ensemble of 14 gifted dancers will make their White Bird debut with a program of powerful work featuring Darrell Grand Moultrie’s LIKE WATER, commissioned by Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival as the inaugural recipient of the Joan B. Hunter New Work Commission.
