Interactive Conversation @ PSU
Join us for an interactive conversation with 4 choreographers plus national dance figures from Dance/USA and Jacob's Pillow. This will include an historical overview of the central role of women in the history of American modern dance and be followed by presentations by each choreographer on their individual contributions to American dance and their personal reflections on the role of women in contemporary dance past, present and future. There will also be a substantial opportunity for the audience to interact with the panelists during the 90 minutes. Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11am at Lincoln Hall, Portland State University. This is a free event, but do please sign-up for a ticket at the following link. Please request a free ticket here (bottom of form).
Post-Symposium Lunch
