Intern with White Bird.
Help in areas of Marketing, Audience Services, and Development, approximately 20 hours per week during regular office hours (9am-5pm) at the White Bird office, located in SW near OHSU. Additional work includes attending our performances, helping us set up our lobby display, managing our table, answering patron questions, and assisting with set up of the lobby display.

Our internships are unpaid, but you will have the opportunity to attend wonderful dance performances, meet dancers from around the world, and learn about the details and logistics of presenting 12 contemporary dance companies each season.  If you are interested in becoming a White Bird, please send a cover letter addressing your interests and skills, and a resume to Chelsea Bushnell chelsea@whitebird.org. We look forward to hearing from you!

Volunteer with White Bird.
White Bird has been fortunate to have a wealth of wonderful volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering with White Bird, we would love to hear from you. There are many volunteer opportunities, including a variety of office work, poster distribution, loading in and out of shows, mailings and staffing special events.

If you would like to be added to our volunteer list and receive an invitation to our volunteer party we host each fall, please email Chelsea Bushnell chelsea@whitebird.org and include your full name, email, phone number, and which volunteer opportunity you are interested in.  If you are interested in ushering, please note that the only performances for which we need volunteers are those in the Uncaged Series. (Portland’5 uses their own volunteers for performances at the Newmark and Schnitzer).   Thanks so much.
