White Bird is thrilled to present two incomparable dancers - Ana Laguna and Mikhail Baryshnikov - performing the work of three exceptional contemporary choreographers: Mats Ek, Alexei Ratmansky and Benjamin Millepied. Ana Laguna has received numerous accolades for her indelible performances with Stockholm's Cullberg Ballet where she danced major roles created for her by its artistic director Mats Ek. Mikhail Baryshnikov, Found and Artistic Director of the Baryshnikov Arts Center in New York City, has devoted his recent years to seeking out and working with today's most gifted contemporary choreographers. Among these are Ratmansky, former Artistic Director of the Bolshoi Ballet and now artist in residence at American Ballet Theatre; Millepied, principal with New York City Ballet and director of his own Danses Concertantes; and celebrated Swedish choreographer Mats Ek. The intimacy of the 880-seat Newmark Theatre is the perfect setting to enjoy these extraordinary dance artists.

Baryshnikov show sold out!

I have always been such a huge fan, a jazz dancer myself, since I was a child- and I am just 10 years younger then he. I have been so ill, just up and around now and so I did not realize you were having him for a show just now... Of course you are already sold out. Is there any chance of an additional show? Or do you perhaps have a DVD in the works?
