YUKIO SUZUKI IN RESIDENCY at THE HEADWATERS
Solo Performances and Intensive Performance Workshop

Yukio Suzuki is one of the most promising young performers and choreographers in Japan today.  His work has been featured in PICA’s TBA 2010 & 2011 as part of Japan’s OFFSITE DANCE PROJECT. In this residency, we will get to see his solo and group compositions for the stage and local dancers will have the opportunity to learn and perform his unique approach to choreography.  Suzuki’s solo performances will open each night with a performance by local theatre company Lights Up! Productions, directed by Bobby Ryan and performed by Tyler Ryan.

Performers from all genres are welcome to join.  The workshop will culminate in a public performance on November 12th.
