Funding Shortfall

Although I live in Bend and do not get over to Portland to see your performances, I know that White Bird is a unique cultural treasure in the Northwest. I used to be on the Board of the Barclay Theater in Irvine, California, also a presenter of dance. I heard from Doug Rankin, the General Manager, there that White Bird was going to have a benefit. I will be sending a contribution in honor of Doug and your work. Lois Jeffrey

Hi Lois, Thanks so much for

Hi Lois, Thanks so much for your support. Just to clarify, the benefit is for Oregon Ballet Theatre, not White Bird. We are supporting OBT and presenting Minh Tran as part of the event. OBT is facing a $750,000 budget shortfall, and needs to raise the money by the end of this fiscal year (July 1) or faces closure.
